What we do

Roofing is where a lot of our work starts. We install new pitched and flat roofs, carry out repairs, and do the leadwork and flashings that keep water out at chimneys, valleys and walls.
Because Swift Fix is a building company as well as a roofing contractor, we can also deal with what a leaking roof leaves behind — damaged ceilings, plaster and decoration — without you having to bring in another firm.

Repair or replace? We will tell you straight
Not every leak needs a new roof. Often the cause is a single slipped slate, a failed flashing or a blocked outlet, and a targeted repair is the right answer. We find the cause first and show you photos of what we have found.
When a roof has reached the end of its life — widespread slipped or porous slates, failed underlay, sagging battens — patching it keeps costing money. In that case we will explain why a re-roof makes more sense and price it clearly.
Pitched roofs, flat roofs and everything in between
London housing means every type of roof: slate terraces, tiled semis, flat-roofed rear extensions, dormers and period details like lead-clad bays. Our recent work includes full slate re-roofs, a lead-clad domed bay and a flat-roofed garden gym.

Can you repair the ceilings and decoration damaged by a leak?
Yes. As well as roofing, we carry out plastering, decorating and full refurbishments, so we can put right the inside of the property once the roof is watertight.
How long does a new roof take?
A typical re-roof on a terraced or semi-detached house takes one to two weeks, depending on access, the size of the roof and the weather.
